With a lot of new recipes added to my regular recipes, I was in dire need for a good solution. I already had a small binder (which was full anyway), and had started to print out a whole bunch of new recipes. Unfortunately there was no space for the new finds (you can see it a bit on the left).
So the other day, I decided it was time for a new solutions that would fit all of my new recipes.
On Pinterest I found a good number of ideas and decided to create something similar.
So off I went and got my supplies for a couple of Euros:
I purchased a light green basket and index cards. I already had a block full of scrap-book paper and jute.
Using the scrap-book paper I created colored dividers with tabs at the top.
And using white paper I created labels for the front, on which I wrote the different categories of my recipes (Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner, etc.).
Next, I used some more paper and created a label for the front of the basket.
I used the jute yarn to attach this to the front of the basket.
Finally I started writing or gluing my new collection of recipes onto those index cards.
As you can see, there is a lot of space for new recipes. And anytime I cook something, I can just put the respective card in the front (and have a recipe holder included).
Total Cost:Less than 5 Bucks
I think this turned out to be a pretty and effective solution for all of my new recipes.
