Zucchini Dish with Walnuts

 Here is as I assume, my first paleo recipe. I created something from zucchinis, onion, mustard, bacon and walnuts:

Ingredients for 1 serving:
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 Slice of Bacon
  • 1 Dash Butter or Coconut Oil
  • One handfull of Walnuts
  • 2 Teasp. Mustard
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions:
  1. Cut zucchini, onion, garlic and bacon.
  2. In a pan, heat butter/coconut oil, and add bacon, onions and garlic.
  3. Once those are done, add the zucchini.
  4. Season with salt and fresh pepper.
  5. In the meantime, open walnuts and crumble halves into smaller crunchy bites.
  6. Once the Zucchini are cooked (maybe 5 to 8 minutes), add the mustard.
  7. At last, add the crumbled walnuts.
I ate this with a side salad, but a steak or grilled chicken would have been awesome too.
